Tom Brevik
Were born in Fredrikstad, Norway in 1948.
He had his musical studies in Bergen and took exams with The Highest Degree of Music Performance from Bergen Music Conservatory, with flute recorders as main instruments.
He has been one of the most active and central persons in the Norwegian band movement over the last decades, both as an administrator, musician, composer, arranger, publisher, conductor and jury member.
Tom Brevik has been both Musical Director and President of The Norwegian Band Federation (NMF). As a conductor he has conducted top renowed Norwegian Brass Bands like Manger Musikklag and Eikanger/Bjørsvik Musikklag.
He is an international brass band jury member and is one of three members of The Music Commission of the European Brass Band Assosiation (EBBA).
